This piece of art was made by American activist Favianna Rodriguez she is showing in her art that the Wall shouldn't be built and that everyone is welcome to the USA and using the symbol of a butterfly to show how "migration is beautiful" and comparing that to immigrants immigrating to the U.S 



No Safe Harbor: The Landscape of Immigration Legal Services in New York (2020): This report, authored by the NYIC in partnership with Brooklyn Law School’s Safe Harbor Clinic and the Immigrant Advocates Response Collaborative (I-ARC), draws on detailed interviews and surveys to ascertain the core challenges facing legal service providers and immigrant New Yorkers seeking legal assistance.
Unprotected and Unheard: Nassau County Police Department Fails Immigrant Communities: After years of local and statewide language access and police reform efforts, the NYIC and LILAC partnered to conduct this testing project to evaluate the NCPD's current language access practices. Our findings indicate a significant failure rate in the NCPD's response to Spanish speakers who called the eight precincts and headquarters a total of 94 times. Our recent testing had a failure rate of 46.8% indicating a pattern of willful negligence and dereliction of duty.

This shows how many people have tried to immigrate to U.S using a vary of many types of ways such as using programs that would help them or choose to seek asylum meaning they are running from a cartel or a gang in their former country and its no longer safe for them to be in their own country

For this poster roughs I used inspiration from and old Mexican bingo game and changed one of the cards into a symbol as the border to get people attracted to my poster and see the bigger problem in hand. This roughs was my first one I drew and I just got inspired from my  pervious ideas and its people from different backgrounds getting around the world immigrating from all over the world  This image I drew was of a child being caught by I.C.E and the flags are supposed to show how these kids from immigrant parents and they are being treated worse then some criminals and being put in cages.    This rough here is a family at the border and has a saying how they are trying to get there dream and get a better life for the kids they have. This is supposed to be the border but the border is also supposed to be the flag and a family crossing it and that is what this is showing.

Social Justice Spreads Reflection  While making my spreads this taught me a lot about what I was reaching and what I wanted to show in my spreads. My spreads were about the social justice problem of Immigration and the struggles of people who immigrate to other countries for a better life. I mostly looked at the immigration crisis in the United States.
